there is a spider in my room and its huge and i am crying hysterically right now because my attempt to kill it failed and its now out of sight and i am too scared to move stuff out of the way in case it jumps at me.

i shall not be sleeping till that sucker crawls into sight and i can find something to smash it with as long as i can do it from a distance.....

okay - abject terror has abated because i havent seen the lil bastard for while so tears have stopped, but anxiety about him reappearing or crawling up onto the bed to terrorise me continue.

either i wacked the guy when it was under a bag or i got him good when i tried to kill him initially and he just wanted to find somewhere quiet to die. he is curled up dead on the floor near the wall. i hit him with a crutch a few times to be doubley sure. ast least i will get some sleep tonight.

obviously the floor needs to be broomed. but dude i aint going near that till daylight. i know its dead but i have irrational fear that its some OTHER spider and the real lil bastard is laying in wait for me....

[edit] eh - and dont let his folded up legs fool you - when he was on the wall - he was BIG!!!!! okay - not the biggest i have ever seen - i have seen some HUGE huntsmen spiders - but he was big enough that i was too scared to go near with him with my doc boots which i can usually do with moderate sized spiders if i have to....

in other news the freaks are out again.

you know when i posted about how the pic of my pasty white leg in the cast seems to be getting a bazillion views on flickr from who the fuck knows where? (1774 views for fucks sake)

well i posted a pic of the scratches on my foot where the water proof thingy of my cast had stuckto my foot and pulled off skin when it came off....it has 41 views whereas the pics on either side have 3 and 14 views (14 - i guess the sight of Swift in his new bed was exciting or something). OOH and the pic i took of his bed with my cast in the shot for a size comparison - 22 views while the pic inBETWEEN those two pics only scored 1. WTF???

i am gonna make them viewable to only my contacts. enough with you wacko freaks!!!!!!!!!

okay - just yesterday SMH website had an article about overcrowding on Town Hall station. In my opinion Wynyard is just as bad....so they are now planning to 3 stations in the CBD during teh APEC meeting later this year...so now those stations are going to be even more crowded. nice one.

fuck you everyone who agreed to this shit.
some of us cant take time off work (i certainly cant - i now have NO leave whatsoever). i dont even work in the cbd and i think this is balls. i feel sorry for people who work near those three stations. and the rest of the sardines at the other city circle stops. >.<

i say they should banish the turds to some lame conference centre in the bush somewhere so we dont have to deal with them.
