endorwitchWe had to take the cat to the vet today and she was put down.
Cat was acting way worse this morning.
Even last night when i went into check on her i opened the door begging silently for her not to be dead. That would have freaked me out. Did the same this morn.
Anyways she was on the floor and I didnt notice immediately but she seemed to be sitting in a puddle of her own pee and she wasnt moving so I was immediately freaking out. I moved her onto teh bed and cleaned up the floor. I waited a bit then called Emma to make sure if I could get into a vet she could drive me.
When I called the vet the message said they opened at 10 on sundays so i waited a bit longer till then and then called them to a make an appointment which was at midday.
Anyways I knew she was bad, I didnt expect any good news and the vet pretty much confirmed it for us. She was ina bad way and they could give her a drip and do a bunch of tests and see whats wrong first or we could just put her down. She looked so damn miserable and was barely moving. Couldnt even pick herself up to get comfortable on teh examination table.
Anyways Emma called mum because we didnt wanna make the final decision. Mum said its better to put her down than make her suffer. Which I totally agree with it but I couldnt say it.
They asked us if 1) we wanted to be there when they did it and 2) did we wanna take her home afterwards and me and Em also couldnt face either of those. I guess we are just wimps.
I was pretty much crying the whole time we were in there.
We said goodbye and left.
I am upset but I have been saying to Emma and the vet if it had been our dog Misty i would have been a HUNDRED times worse. Though I couldnt have let her go and die on her own coz her lil face would have just ripped out my heart. They would have had to give me a sedative to get through it though. I dont wanna be around when Misty goes.
ANWYAYS so afterwards Emma took us to maccas and i am sure we looked spectacular with our red eyes.
We were there for over an hour and she as always managed tomake me laugh my head off some.
When I got home a few mins ago i went into mums room where the cat has been living pretty much exclusively since we moved back into the house and i started crying again.
i have an epic headache from crying, laughing, and then crying again.
